I started this blog in part to help catalog all my favorite healthy recipes.  I'll also be sharing the ideas, tips and inspirations that have helped me allow healthy eating to be my new normal.  For me, the hardest part about making healthy choices is that so often many other options appear to be more convenient.  However, when I do take the more "convenient" approach, I am usually left feeling sluggish, bloated and lacking motivation for the day.  

Growing up, although my Mom always did an excellent job of serving veggies at every meal, we still had a lot of processed and "convenience" foods, as well as plenty of super sweet desserts.  Now, taking charge of my own choices, I'm working towards a cleaner lifestyle in many aspects of my life - clean eating being one of the most important to me.
